This bracelet is supposed to be reminiscent of the flowers in Monet’s gardens at Giverny and his paintings of them. The colors of the flowers blend from one bed to the next and are surrounded by a white picket fence of tear drop beads. This is another bracelet that is fun to wear as the beaded flowers continually fall into new patterns as you move.
This is a beautiful bracelet. Is there somewhere where I may purchase the instructions for making this bracelet? If so, would you please let me know where I can do so? Thanks very much.
I just love this and the technique. Unusual and beautiful!
Hello Joy,
The design for “Monet’s Garden Bracelet” is by Kathleen Lynam and was featured in the April/May 2006 issue of Beadwork on pages 68-69. I know Beadwork Magazine sells Projects, back issues of the magazine, and DVD’s of earlier issues. Beadwork 2006
I made this bracelet and it was fun and easy for me to follow the directions ( Medium bead experience) I also got the pattern in Beadwork April/May 2006. I ordered my beads from Fire Mountain and had alot of deads left over to make more bracelets. I was just looking at my bracelet today. Love it.
